Latest Update: PUBG launch date in India after ban?

The Indian government banned PUBG Mobile India in September 2020 and since then PUBG fans in India are eagerly awaiting the resumption of the popular war game royale.

Now, it seems that the company behind PUBG Mobile is planning to launch the game soon in India as the company has submitted a list of jobs for a new investment strategy analyst in India. According to a report, Krafton Inc submitted a list of positions on March 18.

The explanation given in the job description states that the role of the investment strategy analyst will be to assist Krafton in analyzing acquisitions, acquisitions, and investment opportunities in India.

Earlier, it was announced by Krafton that it planned to invest Rs 725 crores in India to fund local video games, esports, entertainment, and the IT industry.

It is noteworthy that PUBG Corp. is a subsidiary of Krafton and the company owns the intellectual property rights of PUBG Mobile India. In November, the company unveiled its plan to make a new game only on the Indian market to curb the ban.

It can be recalled that PUBG Corp had stripped IP rights in the days of Tencent after the Indian government banned PUBG due to privacy issues. The move is seen as PUBG Cooper's attempt to resume operations in India as soon as possible.

The company also announced that it has established a subsidiary of India to “improve communication services” with players. IPUBG Corp. has also entered into an agreement with Microsoft for its games to be hosted on Microsoft's Azure platform.
